PDXLAN November was a lot of fun and a huge success! The LAN held a food drive for charity and produced 12.5 tons of food to be donated! In addition to the charity, attendees that donated food received the following:
Prizes in Detail:
- PNY Will be giving you a 4GB Pen Drive if you donate 10 pounds or more.
- Corsair will be giving you a MM200 (A product just released... if you donate 20 pounds or more.
- AMD will be giving you Nexuiz if you donate 30 pounds or more.
- AMD will be giving you Sleeping Dogs if you donate 40 pounds or more.
- NVIDIA will be giving you all Borderlands 2 Golden Keys once the LAN total is 10,000 pounds or more.
- NVIDIA will be giving you all Assassins Creed III once the LAN total is 20,000 pounds or more.
In addition, for the first time ever we will let you choose which prizes you want your raffle tickets to go to. Prizes like: A NVIDIA GTX 680, CTL 27" Monitor, An Aquarium PC Mod, An EVGA 660TI, or even a chance to pick anything from the raffle pile. We'll also have a box for general charity raffle.
There were no big winners, aside from receiving the games, gold key, pen drive, and mouse pad, but we all had a very fun time! Retsef_Liob, Dgephri, Jack_Spade, and myself had a lot of fun. It was also Ariel and Jack_Spade's daughters first LAN event! A very fun time overall and I thank all of the staff at PDXLAN for making such a great event.
