The 1.5 Recursive Colony Expansion is live! Some really cool stuff available in the whole new open zone of North Sonora Desert as well!

Review:
As usual with Hi-Rez's new content, it delivers in full! Extremely nice DX10 graphics are in store for you. The Solar Farm is especially nice, where depending on your point of view; you can actually see the mirror that is collecting the sunlight, while from another angle you get literally glare from the sun. Water is fantastically done, as usual, as well and the desert vistas are simply not to be missed. If you like killing robots, this is the expansion. One "dungeon" pits you versus the robotic "eye" controller of the Recursive Colony hive. This eye can fire single beams or spin up into full Vulcan chain gun mode, so you had best take cover. And no...If you're an Assault, your shield is not going to be nearly enough protection!
Loot drops are nice as well! This update includes random chests that you can open to loot crafting goods, or on the rare occasion, something better!
Now the downsides...there are a LOT of bugs with this release. The initial quest for the Desert Trader leads you to a lonely rock that is being attacked by T.I.C.K.s and Colony Scavengers, but there is nobody to talk to. Closer inspection shows you that you can actually talk to the rocks themselves, but you may have to move around a bit to find this location. Another bug is in Terminus Station where you go to use your repair kits to repair your gear only to be logged out...when you log back in, you'll be placed at the entrance to North Sonora.
Bugs aside, Hi-Rez has delivered on excellent content.
